The nearest metro station, Okhotny Ryad, is less than five minutes' walk from the front door of the Ritz Carlton, and stands at an interchange between three lines, offering fast access to almost every corner of the city.

Just a few minutes' walk from the Ritz Carlton on Teatralnaya Ploshchad, Moscow's Bolshoy Theater is one of the greatest opera houses in the world, and is rapidly recovering from a lull in the nineties. The 334 rooms and suites at the Ritz Carlton Hotel are large, luxurious and superbly equipped, decorated in a lavish traditional style with beautiful reproduction furniture, much of it made from polished dark cherry and burl wood. Very large en suite bathrooms are fitted with marble from Portugal and Altai. Technical facilities are state-of-the-art, including Wi-Fi and hi-speed broadband available in all rooms free of charge. For even more luxurious treatment, guests can book on the Ritz Carlton Club Floor, which offers extra services including five food and beverage presentations daily.

 

The Ritz Carlton's entry-level Superior Double Rooms would be Junior Suites in almost any other hotel, measuring 42 square meters and sumptuously decorated and furnished. Room designs are classically elegant, utilizing the finest natural materials, but also feature very modern technical amenities discretely fitted in the beautiful reproduction furniture and operated using sophisticated touch-screen controls. Furniture includes king-size bed, large writing desk, armchair and ottoman. Superior Double Rooms include rooms with disabled access.
